We've officially released the BizSyncXL client today. After about six months in development (actually code development) and a year of research, its finally here and able to be purchased directly from our new site. For the year in development, this company has been markedly quiet, heads down and focused. We focused 100% on this product and decided to bring to market a game changing product that catalog merchants, direct marketers and e-commerce retailers have been asking for to help them improve their integration, and give them more options for e-commerce support with their order management systems.
Simply stated, BizSyncXL is a software product that you can download and installed within minutes to have your back-office system, or order management system talk directly and synchronize your business to your shopping cart (hence the name "BizSync"). It will allow for inventory, price and product updates, as well as order integration between both systems to provide order downloading and import compatibility and even order status updates. As a software downloaded product you will get long term support and updates, and you'll benefit from being able to quickly and affordably integrate your shopping cart and back-office system.
What makes BizSyncXL special and a "game changer" is that its 100% software without any additional services, hosting needs or complicated setup or procedures. In most cases, you download BizSyncXL and install it on a workstation, choose your order management system, shopping cart and and you're on your way. Its really that simple (We'll be posting videos shortly that will demonstrate).
Why is this a game changer? In the past if you wanted to have your order management system and shopping cart talk to each other, it required either hiring an expensive consulting firm to develop the integration, or worse, having to be forced into a proprietary solution and shopping cart that painted your business into a corner and didn't allow you to control all facets of your on-line business. With BizSyncXL, you setup your integration, and simply let it run... it can be automated and allow for a near real-time integration. You won't find too many products on the market that do that.
The shopping cart industry has changed over the last 5 years. In the past, setting up a shopping cart was daunting and expensive. The choices were limited to expensive proprietary solutions, hosted and managed solutions that had expensive monthly fees, gave you little control over the code base, servers and support and often times roped you into a system that was not advancing with the technology.
In the last couple years the industry has completely changed. Managed hosting solutions like Volusion, Pinnacle Cart, 3dCart and even Shopify have proved that you don't need to charge $300 a month to get a great shopping cart system, get excellent support and a reliable platform -- which these companies are all doing succesfully. Also, with the release of "open source" technology such as, Magento and the always stable and powerful X-Cart, the standalone market has also made advancements for the DIY folks, or the larger companies who have an IT staff that require internal hosting and management. The e-commerce market has become no different than any other market on the Internet, things are far more affordable, and the options are far more various than they once were.
Unfortunately, for folks requiring integration with back-office systems such as multi-channel merchants, these advancements cant not be recognized because of the unique nature of the way these merchants work. Most times, the back-office system has its own proprietary shopping cart because its integrated in some way to allow for inventory and order compatibility. The options with these proprietary solutions are limited and more often than not, the customer is required to hire consulting to update them or use the company directly to add a feature that we all take for granted is already in the shopping carts that are prevalent on the market. For Multi-Channel merchants who need integration, even though shopping carts have advanced, they haven't been able to ride that wave.
With BizSyncXL we will support many different back-office systems and many different shopping carts. The intention is that if you purchase BizSyncXL with one of the supported systems, you can affordably integrate with any of the system we support. Out of the gate, we're going to support Mail Order Manager and Magento. Over the next couple months we'll be releasing new adapters that support a wide variety of both back-office systems and shopping carts so that multi-channel merchants will no longer be hindered or constrained by not having options.
BizSyncXL was created and developed because our customers were telling us that they needed options, that the cost of paying a company to host their shopping cart was becoming too expensive for them (they realized there were less expensive and better options out there), and more importantly, they wanted the ability to change shopping carts or use different shopping carts with their back-office system to market their products when they wanted.
As we've known for years. Multi-channel merchants need more selling options, more e-commerce capabilies and need to keep an eye on their e-commerce budget(s). BizSyncXL was specifically designed for you, the Multi-Channel merchant who have been asking for years to be able to simply and affordably use a "great" shopping cart system with your back-office order management system -- now you can.
